The long lack of updates has been due to some very hard work. I'm now writing scenes that have been planned, in some cases, for a dozen years or even more. I don't think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels: I am alternately elated and overwrought. I both want, and don't want, to finish this book (don't worry, I will.)
She then goes on to relate a funny, somewhat bizarre dream she had -- the first (she claims) that she's ever had in "Harry's world." In the dream she was both Harry and the narrator, and was hunting for a horcrux. Very interesting....
...and a title! "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"... Hmmm... sounds spooky!
ReplyDeleteYikes! A title! See what happens when I have a busy day and can't check HP news? I was wondering if we'd get a title for Christmas, like she did with Half-Blood Prince. I was hoping we would, but the little writing tid-bit she gave on Tuesday threw me off. I thought it might be the only bit of "news" this season after all.
ReplyDeleteA title gives me hope that the story really is moving along...
OK, I've just been checking in over at the Leaky Cauldron -- fascinating title indeed. What do you think it means? :-)
It has "deathly" in the title. Does that bode well?
I sense a very dark book coming... But hopefully not overwhelmingly so! I was browsing around on Rowling's site after reading your blog this morning but I found out about the title at work. Big news... could a date be next? I recall that the date for book 6 came just before Christmas... ;)
