Wonderful Booklist
I'm becoming something of a booklist fanatic these days. So I was very happy to find this great list over at Mere Comments. It's a list of books for kindergartners through 12th graders, compiled a few years ago by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Even more helpful: scroll down and read the terrific comments people left, amending, revising, and adding to the list from their own favorites. Definitely a post to keep and refer back to!

Glad you like it! I think I have recently stumbled onto my very favorite part of blog-hopping...reading (and pilfering from) other people's booklists. Now I just need to stop reading blogs and go read books! ;-)
Actually, I am reading a couple of good books right now...and once the whole HP frenzy subsides, I will get back to reflecting on those and other things as well. Right now I'm enjoying these few days of communal anticipation...
