Me at Three
I've been trying to get up my courage to post a photo of myself -- here and also over at Epinions, where I write book reviews. I've been thinking I might use this one, which is one of my favorites of all time. It was taken by my older sister when I was three and she was about nine. And I think it captures the joy I felt about just about everything at the time!
It also gives me insight into my own daughter, newly turned four.
Also love it because in the background you can see (just barely) our old family cat, Harvey. He was a member of the family before I was born, and lived until I was thirteen. He and I especially bonded in his old age. He was a very precious and tenacious kitty.

That really is a cute picture. And it's interesting your cat was named Harvey because my aunt had two cats named Elwood and Chumley, from the movie "Harvey." 8-)
Hee! Our cat was named Harvey because of that same movie...the Jimmy Stewart one about the invisible rabbit! I guess my parents really liked the film.
For some odd reason, my profile photos keep disappearing at epinions. I set this one up last night and it showed up for a while, and now it's gone. Re-submitting doesn't seem to help. I'm about to give in and go back to clipart...
Sigh.

Hm, I just checked and it shows up for me. Maybe Epinions is doing some re-structuring or something...
Hmmm...it's showing up for me again too. Basically my profile picture has been in and out for the past week or two, but for the most part, it's not been showing up at all. Well, I'll give it a little more time and see how it goes. Thanks for checking!
